Corrections Memorial Gate & Plaque
During the planning of our memorial at the Training Center, we sought a symbol to represent the history and traditions of the correctional professional. We learned of a unique gate that was originally created for the U.S. Federal Prison at McNeil Island in the early 1900’s. The State of Washington Department of Corrections graciously donated the gate to the training center.
