What is In-Service eLearning?
The In-Service eLearning allows participants to complete free on-line training that can be used toward fulfilling the WAC 139-05-300 In-Service training requirement.

What link do I follow to get to the online eLearning training?

Do I have to participate in eLearning?
No, the eLearning is meant to augment training programs already in place. It is up to each agency to decide whether or not they want to participate.

How do I register?

In order to register you must have an agency email address. Registration is achieved by completing the WSCJTC In-Service eLearning Registration Form and mailing it to WSCJTC. Once registered, you will be provided a login account. Download the form now: Choose   PDF version or    MSWord version

How long does it take to receive the login and password?
Please allow 5 working days for activation from the time WSCJTC receives your registration form.

What happens if I forget my login or password?

On the front page of the eLearning site, click the “Forgot your password?” link near the bottom. This will take you to a window where you will need to type in your email address. Once submitted, a new temporary password will be sent to you via email, which you can then use to log back into the system. Once you login, you can change your password to another one that you select.

How is the training delivered?
Courses are delivered in short training sessions built on a PowerPoint platform. Actual length of a segment depends partly on the user’s pace in completing the lesson; but generally, the time required is seven minutes or less. New courses will be added periodically.

How do I receive credit?
Credit is given upon the completion of an eLearning session. Each session will count as seven minutes of training, regardless of how long it may take you to complete the course.

Who records the completion of the WSCJTC course?
The WSCJTC will maintain records of course completions based on the following: Each completed session will count as seven minutes of training. Each time 34 eLearning sessions are completed a record will automatically be generated as 4-hours of training and will be entered on the officer’s state training record. The entry will reflect the course number 9500, and the course title will be “In-Service eLearning”.

How do I get a copy of my training record?
You may request a copy of your training record by submitting a Public Disclosure Request. Please view our Public Disclosure page for more information and forms.

What happens if I start in July?
Agencies may begin participation in the eLearning training at any time. Training will be tracked at the rate of 4-hours (for each 34 eLearning courses completed) by the WSCJTC.
