$125 million of the Ocwen Settlement funds will be allocated to provide partial compensation to foreclosed borrowers:
  • Who had their loans serviced by Ocwen, Litton, Homeward Residential Holdings, LLC or American Home Mortgage Servicing, Inc. (AHMSI); and,
  • Who lost their homes to a foreclosure sale by one of the above-named servicers on or after January 1, 2009 and on or before Dec. 31, 2012.
Borrowers who were not properly offered loss mitigation or who were otherwise improperly foreclosed on will be eligible for a uniform payment of as much as $1,000 per household depending on the level of response. Borrowers who receive payments will not have to release any claims and will be free to seek additional relief in the courts. Eligible borrowers will be notified by a settlement adminstrator of their right to file a claim over the next several months.

However, if your foreclosed home was in Washington state and you are concerned your loan servicer may not be able to locate you, you may enter your information below and we will help ensure the settlement administrator has your most current information.
