The Native Health Program manager serves as a government-to-government liaison, contacts network, tribal advocate, sounding board, cultural advisor, teacher, researcher, diplomat, and intermediary between HRSA and Tribes.  Helping tribal health providers submit accurate and timely billings is a priority, as is seeing to it that tribal bills are paid promptly.  The program exists to not only assist Indian health professionals and DSHS administrators understand changing State and Tribal realities, day by day, but also to preserve lasting long-term agreements.
