Provider Information
Our agency’s mission is to provide access to quality care for Washington’s most vulnerable residents while managing public resources in a prudent and sustainable manner. In the coming years, DSHS will be working with you to bring a modern, more efficient payment system into operation for a broad range of health care and social services. We value your support and contribution to this effort!

National Provider Identifier Reporting The NPI reporting activity[1] has concluded and the reporting tool is no longer available Did you miss the window of opportunity to report your NPI to DSHS?
In the interim, DSHS continues to require your Medicaid Provider Number and NPI on all electronic and paper claims until ProviderOne is implemented. Please note that submitting an NPI on a claim does not fulfill the NPI reporting requirement because the old payment system will not capture it. Do you want to be notified of next steps?

Do you have questions about getting ready for ProviderOne?
[1] This activity and tool was used to collect and map NPI information to DSHS provider numbers so DSHS could move a copy of your provider records and your claims history to our new payment processing system – ProviderOne. Although ProviderOne is not yet in service, this data is needed in the new system to support ongoing testing.
