Adobe Search

What is the Adobe Search Function? Adobe Reader 8.0 has a built-in search function. This search function uses the Google search engine to find key words and phrases in pdf files on the internet. By following the instructions below, you may find what you are looking for faster than just browsing our pages. |
| Step 1 | Open Adobe Reader 8.0. If you don't have the free reader, click here to get it. |
| Step 2 | Move your mouse pointer over the binocular icon

| Step 3 | Move your mouse pointer down to the lower
right-hand side of the screen and click on the option titled "Search PDFs on
the Internet." |

The search options window will appear. To further define your search, we recommend you also type in
the word HRSA prior to your search phrase. This would mean that your
entire search phrase would be: HRSA incontinent supplies. |
| Step 5 | Finally, move your mouse
pointer over Search
the Internet and click. This will bring up your web browser (e.g., Microsoft
Internet Explorer) and the Google search engine. Google will search
for your words or phrase automatically and you will then be able to click on
all the links that Google has found relating to your words or phrase.
Google may give you the option to click on a link titled "[
More results from fortress.wa.gov ]" If it does, click on
this to get more results for your search. |
