Dental Care 

Dental care includes cleanings, x-rays, fillings, and extractions.  You will need to find a dentist that takes your medical ID card.  In some counties, it may be hard to find dentists who will take your medical ID card. If you don’t already have a dentist who will take your medical ID card, we suggest you:
  • Ask friends who their dentists are.
  • Ask your doctor.
  • Call your local health department.
  • Ask your health plan if they have names of dentists.
  • Call your county dental association.
  • Call the Medical Assistance helpline to see if they have a dentists in your area who may take your child.
