Information about the current budget for HRSA and how it
was developed
HRSA’s budget for the 2007-09 biennium totals $10.2 billion – 51.8 percent of the total DSHS budget of $19.7 billion.
The annual HRSA budget is $5.060 billion:
n $3.989 billion for medical assistance programs (primarily Medicaid)
n $880 million for mental health services
n $191 million for chemical dependency treatment
