Meeting the communication needs of our Limited English Proficient (LEP) customers in Washington State

Do you need someone who speaks your language at your healthcare visit?

The Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) provides Interpreter Services to meet the communication needs of Limited English Proficient (LEP) Medical Assistance Clients.

You are eligible for Interpreter Services if you have a current Medical Assistance Identification card that is used to pay for your healthcare services and you have trouble speaking or understanding English, are deaf-blind, or hard of hearing.
