GENERAL ASSISTANCE- UNEMPLOYABLE MANAGED CARE
The General Assistance-Unemployable (GA-U) managed care program operates in King and Pierce Counties. After becoming eligible for GAU at the DSHS Community Service Office, most GAU clients will automatically be enrolled into a managed care health plan the next month. The Community Health Plan (CHP) of Washington provides the medical and mental health services.
